Price Wars – PIP breast implant scandal

As the market in cosmetic products such as botox and fillers heats up some clinics cut prices. Unfortunately they can also cut corners. If a clinic provides a cheap treatment ask yourself how they can achieve this?. Perhaps they use lower doses of botox which wont last very long or buy filler cheaply on the internet. Do they provide any aftercare as part of the service? or free tune ups? or do they simply do a cheap job take your money and disappear? How do they dispose of their sharps? Are they operating in a clinical environment? What is their training? Can they prescribe medication if there is a problem?
Even in the best hands procedures can go wrong and you need a trained professional to address this. Bargains are not necessarily the best option as the recent implant scare has illustrated.
