A select commitee of MPs is now investigating regulation of the cosmetic industry which contains many anomalies. For example, mobile practitioners are not subject to any regulation and doctors operating lasers for medical complaints are subject to regulation whereas other laser operatives are not.

No cosmetic procedure should be entered into lightly, you should always understand both the benefits of treatment and the possible side effects and drawbacks. In addition, products should be sourced from a reliable supplier as many fake prodcuts are available on the internet.
